Marsh Rangers Football Club will NEVER cease to amaze you. Love them, as we do, or hate them they are always full of surprises. Down, yet again, to the bare bones of a team this mid-week fixture was not what was needed. Still, Marsh got a team together and, including manager Dave Campbell ..... somewhere on the pitch ......set about fulfilling this fixture. Not just fulfilling it but grabbing it by the collar and taking control. When they gave away a very early penalty, which was scored all looked bad but WIGGINS pulled this back with a looping equaliser from just outside the box. Just before half time Willesden scored another to go in 2 – 1 ahead at half time. Early in the second half Willesden scored again and it looked bad for Marsh, but with sleeves rolled up and a determined attitude ALL CHANGED !!!!!!! PAUL NOLAN pulled back a second for Marsh. Super Striker BRADLEY HAND looped the ball over the Willesden keepers head for the equaliser. Marsh were now in dominant mood, and playing some superb football. Willesden were never out of it but Marsh were now on top . Marsh had replaced Dave Campbell, who had played his part but was now finished, earlier and had no more subs so when Bradley Grant pulled up with hamstring problems it left them only ten (10 ) players on the pitch. They still stayed in charge and with time running out the “ Gods Looked Kindly on Them “ and WIGGINS scored again .... This time the WINNER.
A well deserved victory for Marsh Rangers F.C. which moves them up to equal 3rd in the League .
Man of the Match ::::: No way of picking out a M.o.M so The WHOLE TEAM gets the award..
WELL DONE LADS , and Older Lads ( Dave ) .
