With Dave Campbell still stuck abroad Tony Heath again took control of the rudder and helped Marsh gain a well deserved win against a Southall Team having an “in & out" season. Marsh Rangers were the much better side but could never write Southall off. It took a very well taken Hat Trick from BRADLEY HAND (the Walrus) to finish off the hard work created by Marsh. Only one up in the first half it didn’t seem much for their efforts but an early second half goal made things seem “rosier" . Suddenly Southall hit back with a goal of their own. Marsh responded by going 1 – 3 up and that seemed to be that, until Southall scored again to ensure Marsh did not take things easy in the final stages. Very near the end Jack Bigwood received an injury and might now be out for 2 – 3 weeks. Marsh now have an injury list leaving them perhaps a little short on the playing front.
