MARSH RANGERS F.C. 1
Daniel Lobjoit (1)
Copland 1

Not one of the better matches for Marsh, but being watched by Mickey Harvey & co from Hayes Gate F.C. it may not have been too bad a time to have a poorish game which was well below the way we know we can play - Poor for us.
Marsh looked like they were playing in the valley of the giants !!!!! We are a little bigger than some years ago but compared to Copland we are almost dwarfs.
The match started with a Silence for Remembrance. Well done All at this match.
When we eventually started, a delay apparently down to the officials, the game was constantly stopped for menial offences, yet allowed to go on when a number of non advantages occurred. This was not helped by the number of times Copland players stayed down as if shot !!!!, and the very short time added on for all the stoppages & substitutions at the end of the match. All being said and done, Marsh did not play well but should have still won the game. Marsh scored as early as the 10 minute when a free kick was floated into the Copland area and scored by DANIEL LOBJOIT. A number of further chances fell, mainly to Marsh, but no more goals were scored.
When the second half started Marsh must have been still asleep. Copland appeared to walk through them and from a corner an unmarked Copland forward (Valuev stature) headed an equaliser inside the first minute of the half. A large blow for Marsh. For a short time Copland took control, but Marsh soon regained it without being able to push home their advantage. They had a number of near misses but nothing countable.
Marsh Rangers F.C. are still in a building situation, and the odd match like this is to be expected BUT Please let us not have too many.
